Is there a deadline to file a car accident claim in California?
Waiting too long can end a strong case before it starts.

Generally two years from the date of injury (CCP §335.1). Claims involving government vehicles or property may require an administrative claim within six months. Evidence pressure is even tighter than the legal deadline — footage gets overwritten and witnesses move on, so start organizing early.
